In an industry where it’s often difficult to tell one company’s products from another,
Lowe pontoon boats are refreshingly unique. Maybe it’s because, unlike other pontoon companies, Lowe makes
several different kinds of boats, including fishing boats, speed boats, deck boats, and others. It could be
that their experience designing and manufacturing these other types gives them fresh perspective on pontoon
design. In any case, Lowe pontoon boats are well-crafted, safe, and customizable, and their variety of models
at affordable prices provides opportunity for people on all types of budgets to enjoy the pontoon boating
experience.
Based in Missouri, the Lowe company has been making boats since the early 1970s. After
specializing in flat-bottom boats and canoes for the first few years of existence, they entered the pontoon
game in 1979. Ever since then, they’ve continued to expand the field with Lowe pontoon boats whose quality
and innovation puts fear in the competition with each year of new releases. More recently, the company has
led the pack in computer assisted construction methods, resulting in a fully integrated design for smooth,
modern constructions.
Lowe pontoon boats come in two series—the Sport Series, and the Luxury Series, both of
which come in cruiser and angler models. The Sport Series, as you might expect, are the more affordable
pontoon, typically coming with smaller, lighter frames and lower horsepower. The only thing you’re missing is
the high-end features that come with the luxury line, but that doesn’t mean the sport series models don’t
have everything you need. In fact, everything is basically the same, just a little more
affordable.
The cruiser models are designed mainly for recreation—day or night parties, luxurious
relaxation outings on the water, taking the kids out to swim, or what have you. They feature an aft sundeck,
a canvass holder for extra shade and privacy, an L-shaped lounge with a table, seating for three or four
people in the front, a comfortable pilot station with durable controls, and a built-in ladder for getting in
and out of the water. That’s not to mention the many storage compartments in all of the seats as well as
under the sundeck.
The angler models have many of the same features, except the lounge seating in front
is replaced with two comfortable box pedestal fishing seats, and there is extra storage for your fishing
needs, including an aerated livewell.
But the best features of Lowe pontoon boots are the little things, especially in the
luxury models. All the design features are top-notch, including the seating and the stain-resistant
carpeting. The corners are sleek, curved, and trimmed, and the surfaces are top-coated, stain-resistant
vinyl. Last but not least, Lowe’s built-in standard safety features will keep your family safe. Just stepping
on one of these boats, you can feel the sturdiness of the construction underfoot. The power steering makes
maneuvering easy, and the computer-engineered under-structure is built with repetitive crossbeams to make
sure your craft comes out of any potential collisions unscathed.
